Rotary percussive drilling is hand held drilling using a Hilti TE76 with tungsten carbide drill bits to perform holes up to 32mmø. It is suitable for sites where noise is not a problem, and is the most cost-effective way for many contractors. This type of drilling comes under the Hand Arm Vibration limitations and must be carried out for the time limit stated on the ‘HAV’ legislation.
